I use Skype with a netbook, and whilst the webcam is fine, the built in mic
is terrible. This little bendy mic is very neat and my international skypemates tell me they can now hear me extremely well !

Don’t know if the one I received is faulty but it only works intermittently and seems to pick up more noise from being moved than what you say.
