As the title says, the item does not work. The whole thing is made of cheap plastic which partially covers the slot for microSD cards making the item near unusable for my purposes. Not that it matters as the actual usb plug is also made of the same cheap plastic, the pinouts are not connected to the plug securely and stick up inside the plug meaning it is actually impossible to plug this into a usb port.
I took a shot hoping this cheaper card reader would actually work but you get what you pay for. I’d have been better off buying a usb pet rock with the money; it’s cute, a conversation starter, would be just as good at reading my microSD card as this “card reader” and I would’ve felt a whole lot happier with my purchase.

i bought this because i hate using my usb cable whenever i want to transfer my digital camera picture into my laptop. it does what it says, but i deducted 2 stars because it came with a flaw which i can’t accept at all. it’s broken a bit, luckily, i can still use it. that’s all, apart from that, highly recommended.

The main reason I bought this reader was because according to it’s specification it supported Micro M2 memory cards. I received it only to find it does not. The description above is misleading.
I emailed the shop and they said you need a pro duo adapter to be able to use an M2 card with this reader.
Otherwise, the product is good, delivery was quick and responses to my emails were almost instant.

Great little piece of kit, supports all the cards I have, and is nice and compact so easy enough to carry around with me.
